With an extensive international career in theatre lighting, David established himself in a field where precision, creativity and performance under pressure are non-negotiable. When Covid-19 brought the industry to a sudden halt, he recognised an opportunity to channel that same discipline and attention to detail into a new venture.
Repurposing an unused website he had originally created as a hobby for an amateur cake decorator, David founded TPC • The Party Cake Ltd during the first lockdown of 2020 — transforming a dormant idea into a rapidly growing business defined by quality, presentation and customer trust.
Away from the business, David’s competitive drive has long been evident. As a junior in high school, he was a NSW State Champion water polo player and achieved his Bronze Medallion in Life Saving. Today, he continues that passion for competition on the tennis court, regularly playing in the LTA Middlesex League for his local club.
Antonello relocated to the United Kingdom in 1999 from Italy, where he studied Law at the Federico II University in Napoli.
He brings extensive experience within the catering industry, having held senior operational roles including General Manager at Wagamama, where he developed a strong reputation for leadership, team development and delivering high standards in fast-paced environments. He now works as a recruitment partner for Megan’s Kitchen, specialising in identifying and placing high-quality talent within the hospitality sector.
Tommy joined the team in January 2022 and has since assumed overall responsibility for The Party Cake Ltd. From an early age, he has overseen operations at our warehouse facility in Isleworth, maintaining strict control over packing, dispatch and general team discipline.
As the boss, Tommy sets the strategic direction of the business, with a particular focus on morale, quality control and the timely distribution of treats. When not leading operations at TPC, he is regularly seen as a model for Megan’s dog-friendly restaurant chain, where his presence continues to draw significant attention.
Adrian — AKA Apollo, began his journey with TPC as an assistant on our live help system, where his natural understanding of customer needs and brand presentation quickly stood out. As Head of Marketing, he now plays a key role in shaping the company’s voice, supporting growth across the website, product marketing and customer experience.
With a strong focus on premium presentation, clear communication and commercial performance, Adrian helps ensure that every part of the brand reflects the quality and professionalism The Party Cake Ltd is known for.
Amelia — AKA Artemis, plays a central role in shaping the visual identity and premium feel of The Party Cake Ltd, where her refined eye for detail and instinct for design have become integral to the brand. As Creative Director, she oversees product imagery, presentation and overall creative direction, ensuring a consistently polished and elevated aesthetic across the website and wider marketing.
