Easy Buttercream Birthday Cakes – You guys have been asking for cakes without fondant, so this week, Yolanda is serving up not one but two buttercream beauties! Both cakes are tiered, but she has used different techniques for each based on skill levels so that you can “cake at your own” pace.
This video is a cake-along format, so that you can see all the steps Yolanda has taken to really dive in and make this yourself. The smaller cake is quite easy and a great beginner cake if you want to try out a simple tiered cake. You get the tiers but don’t have to worry about layering which is sometimes intimidating for beginners.
