With one cake in the shape of a “5” and the other in the shape of a “0,” this two-in-one birthday cake duo serves not only as birthday cake but as a dessert platter (or a “cakeceterie board” as Yolanda likes to call it).

People know Yolanda is big on customisations, and she loves showing you cakes that you can have a lot of fun customising and creating. For example, this cake was for a 50th birthday, but you can change the numbers for any birthday age.

This also makes a great anniversary cake! You can also experiment with flavour and customise the treats and desserts to satisfy the palette of the person you are making them for. In this case, two of Yolanda’s brother-in-law’s favourite flavours are chocolate and lime.
