Captain America Shield Cake

Captain America Shield Cake – A quick cake for today’s video! Zoe really wanted to create Captain America himself in cake, but wasn’t sure she could pull it off… So instead she made his shield, from the movie poster, with the Red Hulks hand! Anyone else looking forward to the movie coming out?

For this cake Zoe used the following tools and products:

• A 10 inch chocolate cake
• Caramel filling
• Chocolate buttercream filling which she got ready made from Sweet Success
• 10 inch cake card
• coco butter  – She used the Daraciuno one, but any brand will work
• Edible powder colours
• Red fondant/sugar paste for the fingers
• A range of paint brushes (dont use your favourite ones for coco butter as it ruins them)
